Lab 7

The colors on the map carried over well, due to being distinctly different from one another, and none being all too bright or too dark in the original. This is something that is key when changing an image to a .gif, where the compression is all based on number of colors. As for the type, the only place where the type did not hold out perfectly was in the legend, and that is likely because I took a screenshot of my legend in ArcGIS, and then copied and pasted it as a .bmp onto all of my map files. So, there was a double compression. The type is still reasonably clear though, and I do not think it is distracting.
